There is nothing great as talking about your own culture while living in another cultural setting. It was my pleasure spending a day with the confirmation Class in Köniz- Switzerland like we do in Cameroon. Our activities were characterised by a powerpoint presentation, Cooking, and eating together beside other social activities just like other school children will do during this period in Cameroon. Are you interested to carry on such projects with your groups. We will love to share our experience with you. Take a look to our fun full day……Pictures

Sharing formal and informal learning experience in Mbengwi and Acha-Tugi primary school 2016

Health as defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) is a state of complete physical mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease. During our visits around different school in the Momo Division in Cameroon we came across a few cases which were not bad but needed to be addressed or talked about. The first was basic Hygiene especially the girl child. Most disturbing was the fact that many girls could not take part in some of the activities due to menarche . As a result of this we decided to lunch our first camping on Menstrual Hygiene Management in Mbengwi.
Our points of focus;-Improve Menstrual Health Awareness and Management. Here the girls will gain the basic knowledge before, during, and after Menstruation, support them to effectively managing menstruation thus reducing the high rate of unwanted pregnancy.
2017 MHM in Mbengwi and Bome Village
Proving Disposal pads during our MHM campaign last 2017 was a huge task. We had many open question of the affordability of these pad after the campaign. Because of that I decided to learn how to produce cloth pads (Washable and reusable Pads) to support these girls. Two months latter I spent my afternoons besides a sewing machines, cutting, patching up and finally came up with something i could share back with communities. the Team in Cameroon organised a training cession where we could use the social Media to communicate. It was a huge success.
